It has been an interesting weekend. In honor of the 30th birthday of the M1, BMW M1 Hommage decided to reveal a concept that pays homage to the original M1. The new design was presented at a private party this weekend at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este.
The M1 Hommage was placed next to an original M1 and Turbo Concept 1972. Nearly thirty years ago, BMW has entered the market with the M1 supercar, which soon became an icon in terms of performance. BMW are no strangers to retro design, the worldwide success of the Mini is the perfect example. The M1 Hommage combines retro style with modern elements, and is known for his aggressive style and great body.

He looked from one side, the M1 clearly mimics the previous design, which is easily recognized by the back window with shutters, BMW logo placement and bronze metallic paint, like the M1 prototype in 1972.
