The grille is dominated by the large central star, which underlines the car's relationship with the other coupes on the brand and also enhances the brand image. The large air intakes, air elongated dark black bars also add to the sporty appearance of the vehicle.

The interior of the Mercedes-Benz CLS is also distinguished by a timeless design that combines elegance with innovative details and perfect craftsmanship. A striking feature is the surround effect of the cabin: a high-sweeps in the driver's door and instrument panel support through the passenger door. The central display has also been integrated harmoniously in the upper instrument panel. At the same time, the Side Scan downline at the gates is the fall line dynamic exterior.
